At a promotions event last week, AV Idol, Yuria Satomi (who has starred in more than 360 AV films) announced she will release an autobiography at the end of August. She also confirmed she has been hit with massive tax penalties since the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau determined she hid more than 245 million yen from tax authorities during the years 2008-2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had this feeling that all my steady accumulation of money over a near 10-year period was in vain,\u201d said Satomi at the event, which included a poster describing her as \u201cthe tax evasion girl.\u201d \u201cIn hearing about it, I started hyperventilating. I thought a person without money would die.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kanagawa native earned approximately 45 million yen from AV videos. The remaining income, around 200 million yen, came from a number of boyfriends who each deposited some 50 million each.<\/p>\n

FIRST SEX at the Age of 12<\/h3>\n

With more than 200 films to her credit, Satomi made her AV debut in 2008. She also has experience in the fuzoku<\/em><\/a> trade, which is the commercial sex industry. During her time in the latter profession, she reportedly serviced hundreds of men in relationships known as\u00a0enjo kosai<\/em><\/a> (or compensated dating).<\/p>\n

Satomi\u2019s autobiography \u201cThe Girl Can\u2019t Help It: Sex and Money\u201d<\/strong> is scheduled to be released at the end of August. In the book, she discusses the selling of one\u2019s body as a job and her first sexual experience, which was at the age of 12. She also comments on a controversial topic that emerged last year: woman claiming to have been forced to perform<\/a> in the AV industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome [men] were violent,\u201d she said. \u201cSince the police didn\u2019t do anything, I realized the best way was to just slip out silently. Until now, I\u2019ve done a lot of things, and had an interesting life. I\u2019ll be happy if a woman reads it and says, \u2018I, too, need to work hard.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Roppongi five nights a week<\/h3>\n

In addition to being an actress, Satomi is employed at Club Maito<\/a>, a hostess club located in the Roppongi<\/a> entertainment area of Tokyo. She told Shukan Post<\/em>\u00a0(July 14) she works there five nights each week. In speaking about her income now, she was quoted by Tokyo Sports<\/em> as saying, \u201cI use it all.\u201d<\/p>\n
