TOKYO (TR) \u2013 A speaking engagement next month will conclude the career of adult video<\/a> (AV) actress Chika Arimura, who has announced her retirement, according to Tokyo Sports<\/em><\/a> (April 3).<\/p>\n

The actress (@chika_arimura<\/a>) cited health concerns that emerged at the end of last year as her reason\u00a0for leaving the industry. She added that a resumption of\u00a0her career is very unlikely.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe more I think about what\u2019s going on around me, the stronger my conviction about my decision to retire\u00a0becomes,\u201d the 24-year-old wrote.<\/p>\n

On May 2, Arimura\u00a0will make her\u00a0final public appearance as an AV actress<\/a>\u00a0at Loft Plus One<\/a> in Tokyo\u2019s Kabukicho red-light district. She will join fellow actress Saki Hatsumi (@saki_hatsumi<\/a>) on stage for a speaking engagement.<\/p>\n

Since her debut in 2010, Arimura has appeared in nearly 800 films.<\/p>\n

At the Sky PerfecTV! Adult Broadcasting Awards<\/a> in March, the actress claimed the Tokyo Sports<\/em> media prize.<\/p>\n
