Tokyo (KN) Besides the usual reasons why this story might be getting a little more play is the fact that accidents and crimes involving synthetic stimulants are on an up tick in Japan. Notably there have been several accidents in Tokyo recently involving cars going out of control and injuring pedestrians to knife-wielding maniacs arrested for slashing someone or some people or worse…murder.

\"minako_komukai\"<\/a>In February, government officials found 0.1 grams of stimulant drugs in the Ebisu apartment of the actress<\/p>\n

TOKYO (TR) \u2013 During her first hearing at the Tokyo District Court on Friday, adult video<\/a> (AV) actress Minako Komukai<\/a> admitted to using stimulant drugs, reports TBS News<\/a> (April 16).<\/p>\n

\u201cAccumulated stress due to a\u00a0fight with my boyfriend and work exceeded my limits, and I used stimulant drugs,\u201d said a tearful Komukai, attired in a black jacket and pants.<\/p>\n

According to Tokyo Sports<\/em><\/a> (April 16), the actress added that she wished to stop using stimulant drugs altogether.<\/p>\n

On February 6, officers from the narcotics drugs control division of a government health and welfare bureau arrested Komukai<\/a> after finding 0.1 grams of stimulant drugs in her apartment in Tokyo\u2019s Shibuya Ward.<\/p>\n

The actress, 29, was reportedly uneasy on her feet when she was taken into custody.<\/p>\n

This is Komukai\u2019s third arrest on drug charges over the past six years.\u00a0In 2009, the Tokyo District Court handed down a guilty ruling and a prison sentence of 18 months, suspended for three years. After her arrest two years later, she was not prosecuted due to a lack of evidence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the current trial, prosecutors are seeking a two-year prison term. The next hearing is scheduled for April 27.<\/p>\n
